Savory Pan Seared Chicken Strips

Golden brown delicious, marinated chicken that's sure to be a favorite for kiddos and adults!

This recipe is simple and can be ready to cook up after 30 minutes of marinating and up to 24 hours! This will serve 3 people and is sure to satisfy plain or accompanied with any preferred dipping sauce. This sauce is a new favorite from Primal Kitchen Hawaiian Style BBQ Sauce. INGREDIENTS
1.5 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cut into ¾ in strips
2 Tbsp oil for pan searing
Marinade
1 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
½ tsp Smoked paprika
1 tsp Fine grain salt
¼ tsp Black pepper
3 Tbsp EVOO
½ ea. Juice of lemon
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all dry seasonings in a large bowl, stir in the olive oil and lemon juice and mix well.
Add chicken strips and thoroughly coat each piece with the marinade.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat large skillet on med heat, when hot, place in strips without overcrowding. You will need to make two batches.
Sear until golden brown for about 3- 4 minutes, then turn all strips over and cook 4 more minutes until golden brown. Do not overcook or the meat will become tough.
Temp thickest area of strips to 165 ℉ or cut to check for doneness. Place finished strips onto a paper towel-lined dish and cover with foil.
Complete cooking second batch.
Serve with a dipping sauce of choice.
