My mission through photography is to create images that have a nostalgic feeling and build a connection between us and nature. I find peace in sounds, light, color and motion found in life and nature. I want you to be able to look at your images and be able to feel that moment, and look back at those who we love and gave us a bond or taught us about ourselves. I provide photography and photography styling - Let's plan it together. You can bring any ideas to me and I will create your dream session. If you love something you've seen me do, we can make it happen. If you want me to create a session based on a color of a room or as an accent piece, I would love to fill your walls. Amy Thompson
I'm a photographer who grew up in Hemlock and now live and work out of Bay City, MI. I have photographed my clients since high school, all over Michigan. I have 3 children of my own and love capturing families, their connection and experiences at all ages.
I offer mini sessions as well as full and styled photography sessions. I have traveled over the past year learning from some of my favorite photographers to develop a style that is truly authentic to me with the skills to guide you through it with children and pets of all ages. Kids feel comfortable in my presence so you can have a stress free experience. Whether they are shy, moody teenagers, or crying toddlers, I have so many tricks up my sleeve to make sure everyone feels at ease and I capture their own personalities and uniqueness.
With over 10 years of experience working with babies through teens and pets, making them feel comfortable and natural is second nature to me. Photography has been my passion since childhood and it's something that can be seen in my images, it's an art that I have developed into something beautiful and one of a kind.
